libgenometools0-dev software package provides development files for GenomeTools, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgenometools0-dev
libgenometools0-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgenometools0-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgenometools0-dev *
You will get with libgenometools0-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
